Written across the spring of 2020, say it back is the first new EP from the Leeds based producer to see a commercial release. These tracks all built from instruments and samples collected around his hometown of Leeds in the United Kingdom.

When the March lockdown occurred, Wills circumstances began to change very quickly, and he found himself racing back to Leeds in a packed out station wagon. Armed with a Tascam portable recorder, cut off from his regular musical collaborators, and suddenly confined to walking distance from his home, Will set out to test his knowledge of home and his stamina on foot while collecting sounds for the release.

The resulting tracks are an expression of the nostalgia and feelings arisen from the sudden return to his childhood home, pulling atmosphere from the thin walls, dusty instruments and yellowing cassette tape collection he found waiting there.

On this EP you can can hear childhood toys, samples from discarded tape demos and techno beats from next door. Unexpected copses in the suburbs and the joy of opening boxes from previous decades.
